I spend quite a bit of time on Nevada’s Virginia Range photographing the wildlife. This pack works well with my camera harness. It has enough room for a couple of snack bars, my emergency beacon and Leatherman tool in the pocket. My hands are free to manage my camera while still being able to drink water while hiking or sitting on a boulder waiting for the wildlife to pass by. \n\nI bought the Large after trying it on and it fits perfectly. I am 6’ 3”” 225 #. I'm 6'3\" with a chest of about 43\". According to the size guide, I should be a large. Thankfully I was able to try on a large at a local shop (they didn't have any other sizes) and I realized that it was already going to be way too big i.e., was very loose with the straps tightened all the way; I could take it off like a t-shirt. I bought a medium and I find that it too is too loose: straps are tightened nearly all the way. Definitely a downgrade from my old and tore-up Duro 1.5 that had M/L sizing, adjustable straps on the side (something that would make the new pack much better) and I am surprised by the lack of magnet for the hydration hose. While it's fairly hot during the summer the bladder keeps me hydrated.\n\nOne thing I'll note is that the hose does not disconnect from the bladder, which is an intended feature. I would appreciate that being communicated more clearly on the product information, but that's a minor complaint.\n\nThere are a plethora of pockets which come in handy for all the items I need to store while running. Keys or energy gels.
