The trigger was set a a hair under 3 lbs from the factory and it felt as good as I expected. I mounted a scope and broke in the barrel as the the manual recommends. After the break in, I shot a 3 round sub MOA group at 100 yards with 165 grain hunting ammo that had the holes just about touching. I’ve tried 5 different high quality brands of ammunition including sig. This rifle shoots 2 moa consistently. Considering the price I would say that my experience has been very poor. I’ve seen good reviews but mine seems to not be quite as accurate. I would not recommend this rifle to anyone wanting to shoot further than 300 yards. My 20 year old savage 223 shooting bill surplus ammo I got when I was a kid groups 1 moa consistently. This rifle costs 400$ compared to 1500$ lol.
