Purchased the pair back in November '25. Took time entering these into the footwear rotation. And now they are being used on a regular basis. Hiking, light backpacking and rock scrambling over porous terrain. The tread is very grippy. The shoe itself is very comfortable. I have not experienced the deterioration in the footbed, yet. And the soles seem to be holding up well. The suede material has held up well for the use they have been through. The laces hold very snug and do not need to be re-tied. The one issue I do have is the foam that makes up the shape at the top of the heel cup (where the finger tab loop is located), is not secure under the fabric. Having pushed my heel into the shoe, the fabric rolled over and cannot be accessed to get the curl out. Luckily, the foam is thin, and the roll has not made the shoe uncomfortable against the Achilles tendon. I wish I could get a refund. Within 2 months the inside of the heels were busted through and I had to tape them. Within 4 months the treads on the soles were practically gone in some parts. I’ve honestly never had a shoe break down this quickly on me. Technical and comfy enough for a several miles of hiking in the alps, and cool-looking enough for Berlin bars. I assumed these were waterproof and the first time I wore them when it was raining my feet got totally wet! I looked up the return policy after because I only wore them 2 days and it says they have to be in new not worn outside to return. I really wish I saw they were not waterproof cause I would have bought a different pair of Keens after the way they fit my feet. At about month 8, it was like walking on little to no cushion. It's too bad, but for the money, they should at least last a year. These shoes were my daily work shoes for the 6 months that I had them. Thought they would make for great day hike shoes given the reputation of the brand. After wearing for only about three months, the sole is beginning to come apart on the bottom of the shoe, the traction is and has been poor the whole time i've had them, the rubber feels cheap and foamy, and the toe rubber is breaking apart and looks really rough. They also broke in super quick and have a loose fitting feeling now which makes them just feel worse in an outdoor setting.\ni would MAYBE consider these for some commuter sneakers if i were just walking around inside or a short distance but never for any actual outdoor wear. Not to mention they look awesome. Admittedly, I wear them a lot, but I noticed that the cushiness of the sole broke down fairly quickly and even looks a little bit visibly compressed now. Also, the toe cap started taking on Weir and tear pretty quickly. I’d buy again on comfort and looks alone but wish they’d hold up a little better.
