Canik always provides significant value and this is no exception. The Prime itself has all of the top end features of guns that cost hundreds of dollars more and the hard case, extra magazine, holster, and tools add to the convenience. \n\nThe gun itself shoots well. It’s still a fairly snappy little thing but that’s to be expected for the size and weight. The trigger is exceptional and the ports keep the barrel down some. The grip texture is excellent. Between the good grip texture, excellent trigger, and barrel ports, this gun is easy to shoot. Make sure that you’re prepared for an extremely loud shooting experience and wear double hearing protection. With the magazine well on the handle does print more when carrying, but it makes reloads easier and fits my hand well when shooting. \n\nThe holster is what most people have been complaining about in reviews I’ve seen before making my purchase. No other carry guns that are in this class come with a holster, so accept it as added value. In my opinion the holster functions entirely adequately and I’ve carried it several times since my very recent purchase. If you’re a person who carries regularly then you’ll probably want something that’s a bit higher quality and more comfortable. If you carry irregularly know that the holster will work perfectly fine and you should be happy that it’s included!\n\nThe tool kit, cleaning tools, and high end case all add to the value and are excellent to have. The foam insert is also nice if you’re going to be flying with the gun. I have no complaints about either gun. Both have shot great with no issues. The price point is great for what you get. I really like the trigger and case on the Prime. I wish the holster was a little nicer. It’s not as good as the other Canik I have.
