I load 1oz #8 trap loads in a MEC press with AA Supertrap and AA Hulls and didn't change my powderload for new primers - but I'm not using a super hot load. I have now reloaded 2-3k shells with cheddite primers. They appear equivalent - I've had no problems with them at the range. Reliable and no quality issued that I've come across. Clerinox, thanks to its power, allows the use of small doses of powder and provides ideal ballistic results. The explosive mixture does not contain mercury-based compounds.<br />\n<br />\nCX2000: A high power primer in a unversal line for all weights of lead. It is normally used on 12 gauge catridges.<br />\n<br />\nNote: It is not recommend to substitute primers. The Cheddite primers are a larger diameter than Winchester 209 primers.
