I took it to the range and was pleasantly surprised. After getting acquainted with it, I was able hone my groupings. The trigger was buttery smooth. The .357 magnum rounds had a bite but were manageable. The .38 Special rounds were a breeze to shoot. The walnut Altamont grips are nice, but my middle finger was a bit sore after the recoil of the 357 rounds. I've heard people say that they changed out the grips with the rubber Hogue grips for more comfort. Personally, I love the walnut grips and they make the revolver look classic! Overall, this is a beautiful gun and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
