My expectations were sky high. Unfortunately, I have never experienced such a plummet as a shooter. Nine rounds fired, nine rounds failed to eject. Three different types of ammunition, 2 groups of 3 were supersonic without a suppressor, using max gas setting, three subsonic with a Q Thunder Chicken suppressor, again max gas setting. Min setting was, unsurprisingly, not an improvement to any of the 9 shots. Nor was extreme lubrication. This gun cannot even open the dust cover. On the SigTalk forum, I found someone with, effectively, a clone of the same issue. A firearm at this price should be able to fire any ammunition, with any gas setting, and any suppressor (appropriately rated). I contacted customer service and awaiting their assistance. Pros: It is an incredibly unique shooting experience. It is a smile-and-shoot gun. Surprisingly, it was soft shooting; I honestly enjoyed it more than my 11. 5 5. 56. The sig muzzle does well to tame the fireball, but I recommend a suppressor or blast device. Cons: The muzzle thread is not the standard 5. 56 thread but larger, and therefore, you will need an adapter to thread your 5. 56 suppressor device or muzzle device. Too heavy. Sold it and moved to a Gen 1 w/ one pistol lower, 1 SBR lower, three uppers, a bunch of barrels and tons of accessories. When they came out with a Gen 3 I bought the LT. Obviously I love the system. I have only one warming; when Sig is done with a design they sell off their back stock of components.
