Got it on a Sunday late afternoon. Didn't come with any literature....just walked in, said what I was looking for, and the young man at the register got it for me, I left. I went at this time because of coupons \"off\" offered, but I guess they were for online purchase only because I did not qualify. However, got the blower home, and today I went outside, gassed it up (I had watched a youtube video 3 times for the start procedures), did the pre-pull steps, pulled it about 4 times and there it was. It took maybe 2 minutes for the gas to circulate and the engine to get itself worked out, and then it was ready to blow as hard as I asked it to. I love it. Never again will I need an extension cord!! :-) And I can use the cam mixed gas that I use in my string trimmer (also stihl) which of course, only makes sense. I have used it about 4 times now. Cleaning up leaves. it does a great job. Starts easy. Nice blower for the price. Only problem is it gets a little heavy after a while. I own 4 stihl chainsaws so I trust the brand. I own a Stihl Backpack Leaf Blower (I own five acres) and wanted a smaller leaf blower for cleaning out the garage, blowing off the deck, sidewalk, and driveway. The BG 50 fires right up and does the job, and it's quick and easy to use. The backpack blower is for taking care of leaves in the Fall, but I don't want to strap it on for small jobs, thus my reason for buying a smaller blower. So far, no complains.
