  • Fly with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating plus an additional polyurethane coating on the face of the fabric to increase tear strength and UV resistance.
  • Tent body is polyester rip-stop breathable and polyester mesh
  • Floor is polyester Oxford with a 5000mm polyurethane coating
  • All seams taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (No PVC or VOC's)

Set up is easy after the first time. The tent is spacious but lower profile.

We needed something large and roomy that would also stand up to Colorado high winds on mountain tops for camping. This one does it. It can get warm before the night time cool down here in CO. The venting is not plentiful with the fly on but wasn't too bad. I would not take it to camp in the smokies but the rockies are a good fit for design. It would be nice if it were a little more vented and also if you could star gaze on warm dry nights. The tent is very high quality. One adult and one child can set it up easily. The interior design is very good with lots of storage space off the floor. Our family loves this tent. After another 8 person tent ripped on us in the wind while camping, we bought this and have had no problems.
