Is thin, but warm, not bulky so I can fit it under other hats and headphones. Took off one star because the sizing is all over the place. I'm an adult and use the kid's size L/XL because they're cheaper and they fit, but you might have to try each individual hat to see if it works for you, even though they are all technically the same size. For example, one of the pink hats was much smaller than the black/white hat, even though they were both kid's size L/XL. So, I don't know if it varies based on the pattern of the hat.
