Read a review from some clown who said he couldn’t dial in exactly 200yards it was either 198 or 201 or something to that effect , does that clown think 1 or 2 yard difference is of any consequence? He probably couldn’t hit the side of a barn while standing in it. The batteries completely dead before even being installed. Mounted the scope and had nothing but problems, this rifle shoots 3/4 inch groups at 200 yards and the first three shots missed the 16 inch target. After some adjustment the next couple shots were completely opposite sides of the target. Spent 6+ hours at the range and 5 boxes of ammunition over 2 days, and no improvement. My range is not far from the Burris site in Greeley, so I saw they have walk in service available and stopped in to see if I could get some advice. After walking in the customer service entrance I found that they don’t staff it, you call the different phone extensions to talk to them. After 5 different extensions someone finally answered, only to say that I can fill out a service request and leave the scope. I asked what the turnaround time is and they said 5 weeks. I was only looking for advice. Generation 2 is remarkable, great upgraded glass. Takes all the guess work out of drop, drift, pressures, temperatures, altitude. Dope cards are a thing of the past or for those of who never really understood or took the time this optic will easily extend your shooting distances with tremendous accuracy. Just understand not all states will accept this type optic for hunting purposes. I was having trouble get my other scope (Burris FullFeild IV 6-24x50) to dial in for yardage at 550 yards, with out the zero stop was having to rezero it because I couldn't remember how many turns I went. I was wasting ammunition trying to get it corrected. I was hating to shoot it because I was missing more than hitting with it. Not knowing if it was the gun or the person behind the trigger! A good scope, but not great only because I can not dial in the turret in one yard increments after zeroed as they would have you believe in their videos and other marketing. Example, at 100yrds the scope says 100yrds. At 200yrds it says either 198 or 202yrds. At 300yrds it says 298 or 302yrds. NOT what I want to see when shooting longer ranges which can be 6 feet plus off in either direction, long or short. I called Burris to inquire about the issue and they tell me that is OK. Huh?! How is that OK? Why is that not put out there on your vids or literature that your scope is not accurate? I would like to give this a 5 star, but I can't. If you want to respond, you have my email. I hope this helps someone.
