It is made of heavy material that is super durable and parts are replace able and reparable. I have not caught a fish with it yet as I have only used it at a lake that is closed to bait and is artificial lure but I did set a tube jig with the hook set trigger and it would have worked well. This is well worth the money and I would suggest this over the other brands. the only reason for the 4 stars is that it was missing the plastic that holds the fishing line to the flag trigger was missing.
