This safe by liberty who is suppose to be the best in the business was a disappointment. Size is okay only if you take out the flimsy useless shelf. Door is loose and noisy when opening and it bangs open not smooth. I catch it with my hand so it doesn't slam down. Padding is fair but thin so I added my own. Keypad doesn't light up. Overall it does the job but I expected better from a name brand like Liberty. I like the push button finger pad on top of the safe, it is easy to use, even when practicing opening it at night or with your eyes closed. How the push pads are layed out and how easily they depress works great. (The safe also opens with a key) I like having the shelf for upper and lower storage and that it has an internal light for 20 seconds and also that the door opens down towards you so that you can see inside and reach straight into the safe for your pistol. The price is very friendly too.
