Huge fan of Brooks since I ran hard with my GTS 19 for several months. Looking to keep the same thing going with the 20, I did not hesitate to buy the next model. I love them, though I gave four stars instead of five since I don’t like the material the actual body of the shoe is made of. The 19 had a much more rugged material than the 20. If they could just keep what they had going I’ll be a fan for years to come.
I love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and stable. My feet do not "roll" in them because of the guardrail feature and I have wide feet so fit is always an issue. I do think they are a little ugly in this color and thought about dropping them to four stars but I'm enjoying them so much I left it at five.
After trying many other brands, Brooks fits my everyday needs for my feet.
Thanks for being here for the public, Brooks and Scheels in Iowa, for keeping my size, which enables me to keep my feet comfortable each day. I recommend Brooks shoes to everyone I talk to in need of quality and comfort in footware. Many thanks! David Stiles. Jasper, Texas
Absolutely love this shoe! I was having some minor issues with my feet because I am very active and friend told me about these shoes. The amazing comfort and lightweight support this shoe provides soothed my feet instantly. My only disappointment is not finding out about these shoes sooner. Thank you for a great product!
I am disabled and have trouble walking. These shoes give me a stabilized walk. I can get around without too much difficulty.
Great shoes. The fit is spot-on with the size on the packaging. Was a New Balance (American-made) owner for about 10 years. These fit better and I've switched to the Adrenaline shoes for everyday wear. I am a thoroughly satisfied customer.
I've been wearing Brooks Beasts for the past 4 years. I was hoping I could make the switch to something a little lighter, alas after wearing these shoes for only 3 days my chronic foot pain has returned with a vengeance. Now I'm stuck with a pair of shoes I can't wear
These shoes are the first shoes I have had that fit me perfectly the first time. Obviously every foot is different, so these might not be for you. These require no break-in and provide excellent cushioning for my runs.
I love my Adrenaline Brooks. This is my fourth pair I have purchased over the last couple of years. They fit wonderfully and work well with my one foot that I had surgery on several years ago. Regular tennis shoes don't give me the comfort that the Adrenaline shoes give me. They wear well. I even bought a pair just to have for comfort inside our home. I am a school teacher which means I am on my feet the entire school day. The comfort level never stops. Thanks for a great shoe with great style and comfort.
I am always thoroughly impressed with the quality of the Adrenaline line. The comfort and cushioning of my running sneakers are of paramount importance. As my 9th pair over the last 5 years, I do not see changing brands given the current quality of this product.
Just feels different on my feet (not in a good way).
I've owned most of the recent iterations of the adrenaline. This one, in the same size, just seems to fit differently. It is tighter against my big toe than the last two or three versions I have owned. I don't have bunions, but it feels like this shoe would prefer it if I did.
I have been buying Adrenaline and had to purchase Ghost recently. The Ghost are comfortable but I went back to Adrenaline for the support the shoes provide. I have a plantar problem and the Adrenaline works best with my orthotics. I prefer the light gray with blue or charcoal gray. I no longer run, but I walk briskly daily.
Couldn’t get past the color in the long run. Also felt the material on this shoe was not as soft or clothy as other Brooks shoes I’ve had. I felt their was more of a plastic feel to the material. Just got the Adrenaline 21 shoe and it blows this shoe away as far as material and feel.
I like the GTS 20 much better than the 19. The rear of the 19 tend to roll down. Only issue I have is I had been using the Protalus foot support in the 19 with no issues. With the 20 I had to quit using it. Perhaps it was putting too much arch in.
I love these shoes. They are the first "real" running shoes I've had although I tried on a handful, some Brooks and some not. These were the only ones I loved immediately. I have hyperflexible knees so on top of wearing supports I needed something with some cushioning, but I didn't want anything that felt huge or too bouncy. These have just a nice little bounce. Also, I discovered that I needed a wide width shoe which is a whole new world of wonder as I'm not going up a half size and ending up with a too-long shoe or cramming myself into a regular width. Notably, my heels are on the thinner side as compared to the wide front and these still work. I'm able to wiggle the lacing just right so that these shoes hold onto my foot nicely without pinching or moving around. The laces they come with do seem to loosen up a bit with some running so you MAY need a readjust, or just to make sure they're nice and tight, or to change the laces if you're worried about it. Honestly though I do like the ones they came with. They're very spongey and soft and I feel like they help me get a perfect fit to begin with. I haven't had any problems and have just been erring on the side of tying nice and tight. I've just had them since mid-September and it's been slightly warm to kind of chilly and they seem breathable to me. I don't think they'll do too much to keep your feet warm in much colder temps but I'm going to switch to warmer socks soon anyway. I run between 1.5 and 3 miles at a time right now so I can't speak to long distances however I feel like they would hold up well. I use these on roads as well as trails that aren't too variable/risky for slipping.
