I bought a brown one but I really needed a black one. So I hope you get your stock in shape. That seems to be the problem with some of your stuff. Not in stock. that sucks. Other then that you guys make make pretty tuff stuff. I like that phone case not in stock.
I've had mine for about 20 years. I love this belt. It's showing some age, but definitely still up to daily usage. Great Leather! I hope it hasn't changed, because I've lost weight and need a new one. I agree with the reviewer who said "best product ever"
I have several but lost weight. Bought a new one just like the old one. Had the cobbler punch two new holes. He was impressed with the leather quality. Wish you would add two more holes. This is the best product of any kind I have ever owned.
Have had my original Journeman belt for 23 years, the buckle broke year 22. The leather has lost its color but it is still in good shape, replaced the buckle and orderds this replacement looking for another 23 or so years.
It was exactly what I needed. This is the second one I have purchased the first one lasted me at least five years if not longer. Carhartt never get rid of this product or change it. This definitely one of the best products you sell.
Bought this in both black and brown for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves them, he's a lineman and wears them to work and they hold up great. He also will wear them just leisurely. He loves that he can switch the buckles out between the two as well.
This product is not what it used to be. I replaced my Journeyman Belt with a new one, and it has changed. The leather quality is atrocious. After I wore it once the black was worn off where it touched the buckle. When I wore it using a different hole, the same thing happened again. Cleaning mud off the belt destroyed the leather’s finish. The leather kinks and creases easily. My 7 or 8 year old Journeyman was the best belt I ever owned. Whatever the did to change it ruined it.
I wondered about the price vs quality of this belt when I ordered it. For it to be over $30 and not have stitching along the edge, I thought it might be a cheaply made one that would come apart after a couple months. When I received it, it felt cheap in my hands. However, I trusted that Carhartt would make all their products as durable as their outerwear.
I picked up the belt this morning after about three weeks of wear, and one of the button rivets holding the buckle on had sheared off. Turns out it is as cheap as it looks and no where near the cost of owning a “Carhartt” labeled item. I’ll be returning and going elsewhere.
Wore it for 3 weeks, every day. I was in Texas and Florida. High temps and humidity, so it got sweat on. It’s just about useless. It curved and rolled and bent. My last two belts are Carhartt, so I thought this would be great, too. It is a terrible disappointment. I’ll try to soak it and somehow flatten it out, but for now, it is unserviceable. Junk.
I purchased this belt 2 years ago. I swear by Carhartt products as a general rule. I am very disappointed in how this belt has held up over time. Today I found out why, it is constructed of a front and rear panel of genuine leather and the center is paper. The paper center makes up the majority of the thickness. The tagging clearly stated genuine leather and makes no mention of other materials.
I have yet to have a poor experience with Carhartt (as a company) or with any of its products...(of which I have fat more than ... one). I do miss the heavy-weight (winter-weight -) mock' turtleneck long sleeve - shirts. My current supple is getting worn-out here in Up-State New York.
