We want you to have the best of both worlds. That's why we made this shirt jac for in-between fall days: it's fleece lined and has plenty of stretch to get you through every hour of that workday. Features:
Relaxed Fit: closer to the body, but still has room to move
Really nice shirt jacket. 6'2 and 200 and XL is plenty big but usually wear over a shirt or light fleece most the time so just right. If I wore only as a shirt a Large would probably be about right. Is high quality- glad I bought it and may buy another.
Perfect shirt jacket! Perfect for crisp fall days and working outside. Super soft and not stiff like coats are before they break in. Love this shirt jacket. Will be more when colors come in. I’m a size large, perfect fit. 6’0 205 lbs, athletic build
I am 5'9 165, athletic build, slightly bigger chest than average. I got size small and it fits perfect. I usually wear a large size T-shirt (if it shrinks), medium if it doesn't. Idk who this may help but I didn't find many helping reviews for my height/weight so here you go.
The jacket looks great but I ordered a small and it's still huge on me. I love Carhartt stuff but it just keeps getting bigger to the point that nothing fits me anymore and you don't offer an XS to make up for that. Not everyone who needs work clothes is 6'4" and 250 lbs. Don't forget about the short guys.
Fantastic Product. The inside is a similar lining to the chore coat, but a little lighter. The fabric has some flex and is soft to the touch. The sleeves are not fleece lined so you don't get the crazy static with long sleeve base layers. The collar is larger than on a normal collared shirt so it doesn't look odd with a button-up underneath. My only complaint is the snaps are a little noisy, but that should diminish with time. Best Shirt-Jac/Shirket I have ever owned.
Tough, Super Comfortable, but Order a Size Down from Normal
Just got the shirt jac in Peat and was much better than expected! The blanket lining is so soft inside, and the lining inside the sleeves is softer on your arms than many traditional shirt jacs with nylon. I am 5'6" and 215 lbs and I normal where large in most clothing items, however in this shirt jac, I ordered a Medium and I am very happy with the fit. I would say that this shirt jac fits more like Carhartt Loose Fit clothing than Relaxed Fit and is definitely oversized. The medium falls just past my waistline and the sleeves are perfect length and I can easily snap the jacket closed! It feels tough, and so far is keeping me at just the right temperature and should be nice on a Michigan fall day or even quick outside trips in mild winter! Can't wait to order another in a oiled walnut as well!
Love this jac-shirt as the perfect lite-weight but quite warm layer. Snap buttons make it the go-to for bringing in firewood and quick chores. I use it for all day wear too while working. Holds up well.
Nothing light about this shirtjac. It’s heavy duty and built to last a lifetime. If anything. It’s almost too much on certain days. But a real go to if you need to stay warm and move at the same time. Perfect for chopping firewood and working the yard on a cold day.
I really love this shirt jac. It's so soft, comfy, and just warm enough for the occasional chilly evenings in .... yup, Hawaii. I also received a few complements on it's look. Casual, but clean, simple and a tad dressy. But I really love it's functionality... it allows me to move and it has a bunch of handy pockets.
Super soft fleece lining. Side pockets are also lined and the coat has extra pockets for phone, keys, change, and more. I was so impressed that I am purchasing another. It does run true to size but is a little long. That factor, plus the heavier weight than a typical shirt makes it more appropriate as a light-weight “jacket” when the weather is a bit cool.
I absolutely love this jacket!! I was worried about the size selection. I normally go XL for most of my coats and jackets cause I like to layer. L is plenty. So many pockets! The zippered one is an excellent touch! Sleeves are lined so your shirt doesn’t bunch up when you put it on. I would highly recommend to anyone. I want another one.
Softer and more flexible than other Duck Carhartt jackets
If you want a normal, slightly relaxed fit than order a size down compared to other brands. I’m 6’2” 197 and I wear a Medium in this jacket and it looks like the model in the pics for fit. In the Carhartt Paxton Hoodies I also wear a Medium. In most other brands I wear large shirts but Carhartt has always had looser fit tops.
This light jacket makes for an excellent cold but not super cold choice, 28F-45F and is good as a work jacket when it’s cold but you will be active and getting warm from working so you don’t want to sweat, about 15F-28F and sunny. I use a more heavy duty, quilted duck carhartt jacket for those cold windy days that I can layer under. This lighter jacket is softer and more flexible out of the box though and doesn’t require the long break in period of the heavier jackets, it feels great right away.
Got this last week and can't stop wearing it. Looks very rugged with high quality materials. I love the fleece lining the best. Its very comfortable and I am certain this will last me years to come like all of my Carhartt products!
My husband bought 3 of these shirts 10 years ago and is still wearing them. They wash and iron nicely. He loves all the pockets. I was so glad to find them still available. Just wish you had more color options.
Bought for my boyfriend in the “Shadow” color, who is an over the road semi truck driver. This Fleece Lined Shirt/Jac fits him well and looks nice on him. Nice construction. I washed it first and there was no noticeable shrinkage. It’s a nice weight for those in between temperatures, and for in and out of the truck. He will wear it most of the year except for in the dead of winter or the sizzling heat of summer. It is a great price for the quality of the shirt/jac! I would definitely recommend and buy again.
