They've proven to be very durable (no separation in the sole, no loose stitching, overall very tough) and are comfortable as sneakers at this point. However, they have fallen short on waterproofing. Walking through thick, wet grass for more than a few minutes gets my socks wet, and it's been that way from the first 2 weeks I had them. I work outside most days on grasslands that are typically sandy, which is not very hard on the tread. I think if you wore these on rockier terrain it might chew up the shallow tread faster. The tread is great for shedding mud quickly. Fit is pretty good, but I have narrow feet and I usually lace these as tight as the uppers will allow. I would actually like to be able to lace them tighter but I'm at the limit already.
