I purchased these in January. Winter in upstate NY Really hit hard this year.. Used these for plowing with an ATV or a tractor and cutting firewood(for next year haha). Feet stayed toasty and dry no matter how wet the snow was or how cold it was. Highly recommend these. Size 14 fit with room for boot sock but never needed them. Can’t waiting to try them in hunting season later this year
More than I should have spent but these will last a long time . Unbelievably comfortable right out of the box . Did a lot walking first time out and no problems . Coated with snow shield before I ever used them . Most comfortable I’ve ever worn so far .
They just got delivered and I tried them on. I bought a wide boot. The fit is true to size, feels comfortable and seems like they won’t need a long break in period. I tried a cheaper Danner boot (maybe Alden) at the store and it was inflexible and uncomfortable. The speed hooks looked like plastic but they are indeed metal. I gave a 4 since I haven’t had the chance to use the boots hunting but they feel great thus far.
Bought these three years ago now and love them. Three years and a lot of miles in some rugged mountain terrain and the tread still looks brand new. The leather is great and the stitching is tough. As has been my general experience with Danners they did take a little bit to break in but after that they are the most comfortable piece of footwear I own.
I used these boots on a Wyoming deer hunt in the national forest near devils tower. They have a great tread and fit well. I hiked 4 to 6 miles a day with no issues. They are stiff at first so I recommend breaking them in before you hunt. These are my 4th pair of Danners and I see no reason to switch to any other boots.
After reading the reviews I was eager to give these boots a try. First of all they are very comfortable on my foot. I did have a slight pressure spot on my right ankle. I resolved this by trying a different method of lacing the boots up that I saw on a YouTube video. The boot fits great and now feels great. I’m sure when they are 100% broken in they will feel even better. They are very warm. Almost too warm for GA weather, but it beats the heck out of having cold feet when you’re sitting in a tree stand in below 30 degree mornings.
