Comfortable shoe, But vibram soles need improvement.
Good shoe out of the box. I walk 5-6 miles a day. But after 2 months the soles are getting flat on the heels and ball of foot. I expected better from Danner and Vibram. They need to put on a tougher outsole. A lot of money for a pair of shoes that might last 3 months.

They fit snug and nice. All of the ankle support in all of the right places. The leather seems abnormal for running shoes but it is proving nice and rugged. We will see how the creases that happen in leather will happen for this shoe, I havent had them long enough.

A little narrow through the center where the arch of my foot is (I also found the wide version to be narrow through the same section, but wider near the ball of my foot), but overall I'm happy with the quality and find it to be a comfortable shoe!

These shoes look awesome but
These shoes look awesome but the actual performance is less than desirable. Danner shoes in the last have been extremely comfortable, durable and practical when dealing with the elements but the 2650 shoe/sneaker lacks all of these. I feel as though the insides of me feet are collapsing when I walk any distance more than a mile. The top of the shoe where the laces begin has already begun to fray even though I’ve had them for 2 weeks. And also, when they have gotten wet, they stay wet for days. I hiked the PCT back in 2015 and would know not to wear leather shoes, obviously, but the name tricked me into thinking these for those of us who take 10+ mile hikes every once in a while. Hopefully these were a dud in the Danner lineup because I have loved every single pair I’ve bought from them up until this one.
