These are the best hiking pants. The leg side zippers make it easy to take them off without having to remove my hiking boots and the color coded leg zippers make it easy to know which leg belongs to which side. They repel water and when they do absorb water they dry out quickly. The bad thing is the belt. Throw it away and get a sturdier one.
These are my everyday pants for spring, summer, fall and most of the winter season. Its zipper and Velcro pockets are a big plus for travel abroad. Wish the pockets were constructed of netting material because the can wear out.
The pant is light weight and keeps me cooler. I like that the front pockets are deep, the cargo pockets keep my items toward the front of my legs-I find this more comfortable. The zippers work smoothly and in the time I have worn the pant, have not bound or caught in the material. The leg zippers are "color coded" (something I've not seen before) red for the right leg zipper, blue for the left. I also like that there is velcro on the bottom of the pant legs and a zipper which allows the bottoms to be closed around the ankles making them tick proof. I give the pant a thumbs up!
