long wearing, wide toe box and depth, comfy on hard floors- great shoe
comfortable able to add presrcip orthotics. durable shoes. I wear for work on feet most of the day on hard surfaces. The original footbed seems good may hold up, but can't utilize personally. Wide toe box area. I buy slightly larger as adding a layer to the shoe. On my third pair, usually lasts with me with daily use, 10-16 hours a day up to a year; with a lot of foot issues this is a good length of time for me. You certainly can expect a lot of wear time- great product- for sure recommend
I have worn Keen shoes for many years because they fit my foot right out of the box and there is a very short break-in period. My job is outside in all kinds of weather and they have not let me down yet! Excellent shoes!
Very comfortable and durable trail shoe. I have arthritis in my toes and need a large toe box. I hiked a 10 mile loop trail in the White Mountains as a "break-in" hike (lot of rocks, tree roots and elevation change). These were probably the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn on the trail. Roomy toe box, very good fit, easy break in, good on rocky/slippery terrain. All around great value.
I didn't even have a break-in period. The footbed is strong and comfortable, and the uppers offer good protection without a lot of weight. I tried on other brands of similar style, but they just didn't feel as good. This is my second pair of Keen work shoes. I wore my first ones completely out! I felt like a little kid when my new ones arrived!
I have 4 pairs of Merrill shoes - leather "clogs," 2 pair of Moab, and Yakota. For 20 years I've used them as my go to outdoor/comfort brand.
Not anymore. I bought a pair of Targhee hiking boots a few years ago. They're not low rise so I don't wear them with shorts, but I recently bought a pair of Steen's. I will tell you that Keen footwear are well-crafted, comfortable and pretty indestructable. I love them. And I write articles for the outdoors so I hike, mountain bike and spend quite a bit of time in nature.
The shoes run a little large. In my opinion this is great because you can finally put two pairs of socks on. A little stiff at first wearing, a day of wearing is making a big difference. Good traction on the sole. The sole is hard, so be careful on vinyl floors until you scuff them in. I like the fact that the shoes come with a decent insole instead of the foam junk that the other brand has. I like the big toe box and am looking forward to seeing more miles in these shoes.
have had shoes for 2 weeks. they are a bit stiff but i am giving them time. Changed the insoles to keen utility for a little more cushion. Taking them to Wyoming for a week of hiking. want to see how they are in the mountains.
I liked the color and the shoe was just what I wanted, light weight, stylish and sturdy. Right at the big toe knuckle, I experienced pressure and wished the toe box was more like the Austin which I wore (and still do) for years. Great shoe, old feet, I had to return them.
I always love the Keen shoes and sandals. They are all I buy because the insole support fits my feet perfectly. I was disappointed that the grey color in the picture is much lighter than the actual shoes. I have been looking for a nice Keen show in light grey. If there is such, they are sold out. But I still love my Keen Shoes/Sandals. If you need great support, Keen is your answer.
Switched to Keen from another brand. Appearance on website accurate. Size consistent with other brands. Immediately comfortable out of the box. Too early to determine wear and tear. Expect good things and will buy again from Keen.
I have a pair of 10 year old Keen hiking boots that I love , but after wearing these shoes for a few weeks I am sadly disappointed. Not even close to the comfort I expected , I plan to buy some better inserts and wear them but can not recommend them .
Ordered my usual size 10. Arrived quickly and fit perfectly! This is my 5th pair of Keens. I grew up in Hawaii where you don't wear shoes much. It's either barefoot or slippers (flipflops). As a result you end up with what's called luau feet (wide toes). You can always spot a visitor by the way their feet are so narrow. On a visit to the mainland someone turned me on to Keens. What caught my eye right away was the wide toe box. I could never understand why shoes weren't ergonomic. Keens are a dream come true with the wide toe box and proper ergonomic design. Keens are designed to fit your feet! Keens are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing shoes! I got these for the gym and they're awesome! Thank you everyone at Keen!
I got to wear this pair for 2 weeks. Then my dog decided that she also loves these shoes and while I was cleaning around the house found my Keen's tounge deep in my dogs mouth. Total loss of the left shoe.
But I turned around, realized it was my fault and bought another pair of the exact same shoes. That should tell you all you need to know.
Bought these to replace my second worn-out Montfort pair. I need an EE width. Not everyone wears a D width. Toe box is not as wide as Montfort and ball of my big toe hurts. I don’t want to wear these outside and be stuck with them.
Ordered these for my husband who loves them. Said they're really comfortable to wear all day at work and support the arches of his feet. Nice colors on the shoe. As with all Keen shoes, they tend to run on the smaller size so order a size up.
These shoes were comfortable from the start but after they were broken in they now feel like a custom fit. I haven’t owned them long enough but they seem very well built and should last for a long time. It’s pretty easy to see where the extra cost in footwear pays off when owning these.
I bought these for my husband to wear to work. He says they are the most comfortable shoes. They look very nice & he says they aren’t too hot to wear all day. Very happy with them. The sizing is true to his other keens he owns & this pair is the keen usual wide toe box.
Took some long walks in the city after getting those shoes, they are very comfortable, almost no break in period, I was going to buy the waterproof ones but ended up choosing those cuz I have sweaty feet and I am using those for the summer, they breathe very well.
