The 12s were short, but the 13s were way too long [had to more than an inch longer than the 12s.] The 12 in Pyrenees fits me perfectly, but these 12s and the 12s in the Targhee II and III are all significantly shorter than the Pyrenees.
Great fit! I can feel the seams at the toe as well as the edge of the insoles at the toe. I don’t think this is a deal breaker it may all wear down while the shoe is broken in. Super comfortable otherwise great around the farm light work shoes. They look so good though, I don’t want to do any work in them!
This is my second pair of Keens. The first pair is 3 years old and has covered many miles of trails and endured almost daily work in the garden. They still look almost new but have formed perfectly to my old feet. The second pair fits as good as the first after just a couple of weeks. Love Keen shoes!
I've only had this shoe for a month and only worn it five times since it is Feb-March in the U.P. and this is not really a winter snow shoe but Keen is bugging me for a review so here it is. Very comfortable and keeps my feet dry as adverised so far. Talk to me in a year and we'll see. So far it has met my expectations and I am very happy with fit and initial quality of the footwear.
I was searching for an American made shoe and thought I would give Keen Shoes a try. I like my Keens a LOT! They fit true to size; are very comfortable; and although I’ve only just started breaking them in, I am really liking the feel. They are also a great looking shoe, and look very good! Extremely stable
Shoe are fine for the price although they do not seem to be the same quality material or construction of the pair I just tossed, or the ones before that. Oh well, that seems to be the case with most things.
Living next to Steens Mountain, I thought i would try out the Keen Steens. It's a good looking shoe that fits big, both in length and width (especially in the toe box). The overall comfort of the shoe is ok and will work for wearing around town, but this is not a shoe I would wear to the mountain.
First time Keen buyer here. I love Merrell shoes and have been buying them for years. I decided to try my first pair of Keens. I am hooked! I liked them so much I bought my daughter and wife a pair. We live in Utah and love to hike dirt trails. These shoes are very tough but surprisingly light. The toe is very roomy, great for downhill. The shoe is ridged and handles rocks well. They kept my foot dry when we went through some leftover spring snow on the trail. Shoes like this require a break-in period so I wore them around the house while new then on a couple walks around the neighborhood. I've put about 25 miles on them so far. My only complaint is that I have to double tie the laces or they come undone while hiking. The tube style laces on hiking shoes seem to do that but I also think it makes them stronger since they have an inner and outer layer. Overall, i'm quite happy with the shoes and would recommend them.
