While you can see some darker lines on the picture, in person the stripes are much bolder. I had 2 other people look at the website and the short I received and they both agreed the picture wasn't very accurate. This has happened with camoflauge shorts and a camoflauge jacket I ordered in the past in which the items I received were darker than they appeared on the website.
