My son (21) loves them and is currently in the process of ordering yet another pair. His fifth pair to be exact, because he loves them that much. He said they are comfortable, fit well, aren't color fading, soft and very stylish with his new wardrobe. Quarantine shopping is a real thing, and Nike is just winning over all our coins.
They're designed to be snug if you purchase any tapered fleece jogger, so if you're a big guy who likes his pants a little loose then order a size up. If you're looking for a loose pant then go elsewhere.
For me, however, these are perfect. I am a short guy and have always struggled to find the perfect pair of pants. As someone who likes his pants on the snug size, I may find a pair that fits around the waist, but they almost always end up being too long and/or loose.
But not these. I can truly say that the small Nike Tech Fleece Jogger is one of maybe three pairs of pants I've ever owned that fit me absolutely perfectly. The length reaches just above my shoes, the fit is snug, but not to the point of being uncomfortably tight. Not to mention these are very contemporary and go with just about anything. They're pricey, but worth it for me as I'm wearing them all the time and stress that owning a perfect pair of pants is really one of those things you may not think about that seriously improves your quality of life. My only nitpick would be that they get a little toasty during the summer if you live in a hot climate like me; great for all other seasons though.
I hope Nike never discontinues or radically alters the design of these because - to me - they're perfect. I'll always be a customer for these should the pairs I own get lost or damaged. All in all, highly recommended. Thank you for these, Nike.
They feel great, but... The inseam is very long, and on the legs these are very short! Normally a men’s medium but they were significantly short on me with the legs and the inseam was noticeably lower than most pants.
So unfortunately, I tried on the pants and the fit itself was great on the waste, so I immediately pulled off the tags and threw away the receipt, but after wearing them a couple of times, they fit very lose around the legs and they look a bit large in that area, yet very tight at the bottom and it seems a bit awkward. I think I meant to actually purchase your classic sweatpants: https://www.nike.com/t/sportswear-club-fleece-mens-joggers-KflRdQ/BV2671-010
Are very fitted in the calves and relatively loose in the crotch and butt. I bought a large and maybe a medium would have for better, however I think would have been uncomfortably tight in the calves. Nice material- very thick and something I wear when it’s colder outside. A little disappointed in the fit given they cost $100+.
Tech Fleece Joggers are always a staple piece in my wardrobe. The material is a little thin in the pockets, and the fabric is easily snagged, but these joggers are absolute fire. Super comfortable and extremely stylish. They go well with Jordan 1 Shadows, Nike Blazer Vintage 77, and just about any other Nike shoe.
I bought these because I love wearing joggers on weekends and I match it up with a hoodie or sweatshirt and even a sweater with some nice kicks! My AE joggers seems like it's not holding up after numerous washes. I got the all gray ones and I haven't washed them yet, so we'll see if they'll hold up and not get the fuzzies after a few washes. I'm planning on getting the all black ones. Hopefully they don't collect a lot of lint. I prefer a back pocket but the pocket on the right leg gives ample amount of room for your cell phone and keys.
I am very disappointed with this product. I have placed an order from FootLocker because I couldn't get the color that I wanted was not available from Nike. After reading all other people's bad reviews, such as pilling, bobbling, holes after washing machine, I still wanted to give it a try and bought it. Everything was nice, flexible, fashionable, comfortable... until I find holes in inner thigh. I really was not hoping to be a person to write bad review just like others with same issue, but it happened. Very disappointed with such a famous and so called sportswear expert company is presenting this low quality of product with overpricing tag. I am ready to return another one that I JUST ordered from other site.
I bought two pairs of these for Christmas, the all gray and the all black. Upon the first wash of the all gray pair they shrunk even though I followed the directions on the tag. Upon the first wash of the all black pair, they came out of the washer covered in dirty spots both inside and out, but none of the other clothes in the load did. I'm very disappointed due to the price and how quickly they became unwearable
Haven't worn them for a long time so not sure about the durability but they definitely are comfy and I think worth the money. Definitely size up if you are trying to have a little looser fit because these run super tight especially below the knees. Pockets are a good size and just a nice looking pair of joggers overall.
I purchased 2 of these joggers for my son in black and gray size L, as a Christmas gift and they fit him so nice, He was so happy with them and couldn't wait to wear them. They shipped so fast customer service was awesome. I didn't think he would get them before Christmas and he did it worked out perfect and i was so happy to see my son smiling... I would purchase from Nike anytime, great turnaround and i even got a discount on them so that was even great!! Thanks Nike you made mine and my sons Christmas
I was excited to try these joggers out but when I tried them on they were far too tight. Nike large pants/joggers normally fit me great, but it was as if I was trying on a pair that were at least a size too small.
If you are able to get past the sticker shock, you won't be disappointed. These are my "dress sweats" so I don't kick around the house with them or workout in them. But they are very comfortable and given the blend of materials, hold up very well and look new-ish after many wash cycles. Compared to the cheaper nike sweats, these look better, longer. So I consider it worth the investment.
A Staple for the Fall/Winter Season, Execution Needs Minor Tweaks.
Disclaimer/Statistics before analysis: My weight and height are 165lbs and 5'6" respectively. Most of my length comes from the lower portion of the body. Lastly, these joggers are a size Medium and worn from the waist down.
Now for the Review The Pros: Nike Tech Fleece joggers are essential for the upcoming harsh cold weather. The fit goes snug from the knee height downwards and upper legs, with the inclusion of some room at the 'nether regions'. (Consider that, gentlemen.) The fleece material is the same inside and out, so you won't need to worry about lint bunnies and durability issues. Comfort is locked down and taken care of while warmth and coziness are never compromised. Benefits from the premium drawstring and right zipper pocket add a nice touch to the pants' look.
The Negatives: You will notice a durability downgrade at the inner groin region from outside of the joggers. This is due to long walks and mild usage, therefore certain sections will have imminent wear and tear. Second, you might need to pull these pants up to your navel or go a size down if you want to have a tapered look at the bottom part of the joggers. Lastly, $100 might be steep for some buyers, but these are a great return investment once you experience them in-person.
My verdict/personal opinion: The Tech Fleece joggers are a must-have if you want to have warmth and comfort during the cold weather. The tapered look and the overall feel makes the $100 price tag worth the purchase.
These pants fit great. Pretty comfortable and I like the style/cut but the color is a little off from what it looks like on the website vs. what it looks like in reality. It's not a bad color just more of an orange red rather a true red fyi.
Quality is very bad. Material around zipper is coming undone after one use. Previous gen is much better. For $100 this should last more than one use. IMO pass on this gen until they make something of quality. DONT BUY!!!
I'm an athletic basketball body type 6'6" guy with long legs (225lbs 35" inseam) these XL-tall pants still do not fit well. The waist and thighs are near perfect, but my knee caps are just above the bottom stitch for the knee box so the oversized inner stitching is constantly pressing against my knee (too short), and they grip my calves like a pair of compression leggings. Pulling them down to allow my knees and calves the room they need basically leaves the pants slightly sagging. While they technically would fit if I were wearing them for a hipster sneakerhead look, I intended them for weightlifting and running and as a tall guy ld have to say look elsewhere unfortunately. Otherwise material is very thick and soft, the ankle cuffs feel nice and the enormous zipper thigh pocket with phone stabilizer is also very cool...
Bought the Sequoia jogger & hooded sweatshirt for my 14 yr old son in size adult S He previously owned youth XL size last year but grew out of it - no problems. Read the multiple reviews on the material not holding up and still purchased the adult S. After 2nd time wearing noticed fabric defects in joggers.
I hate the way Nike changed these pants. I've been buying these for years and I've loved every pair I've had but my new ones feel so different from my older ones not just the material but the inside pocket is now a stretchy elastic pocket. And my biggest complaint is there's no BACK POCKET NOW! I cant stress this enough. I loved the back pocket and have been so use to having one but now it's gone. SUCKS!
The material is still not as good as the first line of nike tech stuff but quite good improvement from the last version. There is still pilling and it just doesn't justify the price point. Glad that pants finally came in tall sizes. Still short for someone who wears 36" inseam in jeans.
The Sweet: Quite possibly the most comfortable pair of sweatpants I've ever purchased! Super soft, great breathability, not too hot but definitely keeps me warm. Non-restrictive and runs true to size for room to move about comfortably.
The Bitter: Began to fade pretty quickly, the color isn't as vibrant anymore, and I take pretty good care of my clothes as far as laundering them goes. They also began to get those little beads/pills on the front of the pants which makes a very nice pair of sweats low quality pretty fast.
Not really sure I can recommend these to friends in good conscience at this price point... I hate to ever say that Nike missed but this wasn't quite the hit I expected.
I don't necessarily agree with the average review score for these, they are a great combination of aesthetics and comfort and I'm eager to buy my next pair. I wish Nike would offer more varied colorways, for example a nice olive would be amazing. Overall though I would definitely recommend.
Super comfortable, the cut is great on these for that tapered fit. However after many washes it will start to pill. Nothing those little shavers can't resolve. I purchased the dark grey pair and they match with alot of different outfits. The side zip pocket is also nice since it's a little roomier. Definitely recommended overall.
After an in-store consultation, I decided to buy an XL instead of my usual L. The lower knee boundary is a little bit high, but I really love the shape of these and find them comfortable. The waistband doesn't meaningfully tighten though, despite having drawstrings.
Absolutely LOVE the Dropped Gusseted Crotch But needs stretch Spandex/Elastane for added mobility.
Absolutely LOVE the Dropped Gusseted Crotch But Joggers needs stretch Spandex/Elastane for added mobility.
NIKE SPORTSWEAR TECH FLEECE Men's Joggers are excellent. I absolutely love the dropped gusseted crotch, that is a must! Also can't forget the long and deep right side pocket, love it! Typically wear a Large in Nike Running bottoms, with a 36" waste and 32" inseam but in the Men's TECH FLEECE Joggers I purchase XL's. They are slim-fit, so I suggest sizing up if you want them to be comfortable from the thighs up especially in the crotch area. I really like a lot of mobility so to to be able to do a karate kick if you know what I mean. I thoroughly enjoy the articulation and ergonomic fit. *The one thing that would take these to the next level would be if Nike added actual stretch Spandex/Elastane to the fabric content, at least 5% would be nice, because they don't really stretch and they really should. Do I recommend, yes. Nike I really like the Gray and Black Camo colorways :)
Note: They will shrink a bit once washed and put in the dryer for that perfect fit, that's one of the reason why I suggest sizing up.
I saw this product online and I knew that I needed it in my rotation. The material used is very comfortable. I've had it for 3 months now and have washed them numerous times while still keeping its condition like when I bought them. I would recommend these to anyone who wants something comfortable to exercise in or just wear casually. Some other pros are that it has a lot of pocket space and they keep you warm as well. Only bad thing about these that I have to say is that I haven't bought more of them.
Pills very easily. Material has changed from original tech fleece line
I didn't understand why the reviews were so low on these revised tech fleece pants. I wore them for a night out and now I understand the durability concerns. The pocket area for both sides and the right leg area started pilling- after one night of wear! The old tech fleece pants that I wore and washed multiple times did not pill.. In addition to the durability, I also noticed the material is not as soft. Why Nike decided to downgrade the material of their highly successful tech fleece pants baffles me. To the positives. The fit of the pants have improved. They look more streamlined and taper a bit better. The pocket design have been improved. They are now deep enough where items don't fall out. The old ones had shallow pockets. Even with the durability, these pants are still comfortable. But I won't be buying anymore tech fleece pants until Nike revises their material, either going back to the old softer material and something improved.
I was very excited to try out this product, and the fit and comfort exceeded my expectations! However, the material/construction did not, after a few washes, I notice threads coming loose and blotchy parts and I'm now afraid that the loose threads will worsen and make a huge hole on the pants! For a product that charges premium pricing, I expect Nike to produce a much higher quality product.
