I don’t like hoods on jackets because they always turn with your head and block your vision. I rely on gaiters to keep my neck warm and face concealed but typically they’re too tight and you can’t pull them down when it’s time to draw that bow for a good feel on your anchor point with the release and corner of your mouth. This gaiter fits perfectly and is just snug enough. Also the inside micro fleece absorbs moisture from breathing on those cold sits without becoming wet.
