It’s my go-to for airline travel because it easily fits under every seat. It’s super durable. I’ve flown all over the world and really put it to the test, it still looks brand new. I can clothes for 3 days, a rifle (broken down), comms and a medkit with plenty of room for snacks and ammo. The location of the top zipper is terrible. It’s backwards. It’s impossible to open both compartments without dumping one out. It’s inaccessible by anyone if you’re wearing it. I carry the Scree 33 since I have any shared gear, she carries the 22 for layers and essentials. It also makes a nice carryon bag when traveling and the MR features like tri zip are just as handy here as they are on the larger cousins. Great update and works just as designed. I can throw everything I need in the Scree for a day in the mountains. Clean, simple and functional design. Really like the new material and white color.I wonder if this pack could benefit from runner style harness (which I love on my Bridger 45). I was looking for something that could serve as a lighweight summer hydration pack (minimal, light), but was robust enough to handle winter day hikes (volumous). I am pretty picky when it comes to gear, so I did a lot of comparisions and the Scree 22 rose to the top. \r\n\r\nI went for the bright green colorway, and have had it for just over a year now. I've been very happy with this pack. I think it is a little too much pack for peak summer day hikes, but it is fantastic for the shoulder seasons or winter when I need the extra space for layers/snacks or gear. This has become my go-to pack to take on my moto, as the color is very visible and it allows plenty of room if I need to run errands. I packed it up to use as a carry on for my flight. The size is great as it fits in the scanner trays and fits under your seat. Had a couple spill their drinks on it when it was under the seat. I thought it would be stained for sure. Pulled it out and shook it and the drinks just dripped off. Wiped it off with a napkin and it is dry and like new. When I got to my destination I packed it up and used it hiking. I like how you can use the side straps to make it smaller to keep things from moving around.
