Muzzle velocity is 2,740 fps from the 20\" barrel. Back of lungs and liver, deer went 50-60 yards. Sister-in-law took a small buck at 225 yards with the same set up, same shot placement, 20 yards. My middle daughter took a larger buck (155# field dressed) and a doe last year at 170 and 95 yds respectively with a .30-06 with a muzzle velocity of 3,025 fps. Perfect performance. I took a pronghorn at 295 yards with the same .30-06 last season as well. He dropped where he was shot. They are very accurate, forgiving to load for, and hold up well.
