After years and years of hard work, we've done it - we've made the perfect sunglass. With active and passive venting lens technology, an adjustable bridge, dual-injection rubber tips, and a cylinder lens, the FixieMAX is sleek, seamless, durable, and ergonomic. The frame is constructed to provide maximum visibility however, we built the FixieMAX to have a convertible rim, making it a crowd-pleaser for all. With such utility and style, we're proud to present the FixieMAX to you!
These are great glasses! Full eye coverage but have not fogged up once. I have a massive head so they're a bit narrow and I've stretched them a bit, but they still fit great and do not slide down my nose! I use them for cycling and was worried about the green mirror smoke lenses being too dark in shady areas or overcast days but they are super clear and provide enough contrast to keep visibility high. Really stoked on these and can't wait to use them more this summer! Big ONE guy now!
I love the versatility! As a Colorado resident, I spend a lot of my time outdoors and it's great to have one pair of shades that work in the snow and on the bike. Also, happy to support a local company!
Everyone wants large shields, right In my sport, I actually don’t know anyone who doesn’t have this style frame by now. But Optic Nerve is seriously the only company producing them at an unreal quality-to-price value. (It’s like I don’t want to tell them so they don’t increase their prices ☺️.) The lens quality, customer service, and fact that they’re from Colorado surpass all the big name brand shades, but oddly, they’re put up at a much lower price point. I love Optic Nerve!
I have had a few excellent ON sunglasses in the past but none that were cycling-specific. Almost all of my riding is done on gravel, and these have quickly become favorites. Super stylish, sit well on bumpy gravel and are comfortable on my face for hours on end, and most importantly, excellent sun protection,
I am a very competitive cyclist that spends hours on the bike everyday. Not only are these sunglasses incredibly stylish, they are my favorite sunglasses I have owned. I live in Grand Junction where mid afternoons are so bright that I will get a headache unless I wear these! I get several compliments by my fellow teammates and would recommend buying these! Love how affordable they are!
I do MTB and Road bike (I got the green lenses) Pros: Fit very well Not too dark and not too light (you wear it in a cloudy day) Looks is awesome! They stay in place all the time Cons: To change the nose pad you need a screw driver (personal opinion)
Personal Comment: I don't know if this is the way they are designed or mean to be, when you look straight the view is normal but when you are in a aerodynamic position in the road bike and tilt your head down and look forward the vision turns a little bit lighter than the straight position.
These things are sick! I've put them through the ringer for a few weeks now and absolutely love them so far. These are super comfortable, give great protection when shredding on two wheels, and generally look pretty badass. Great value for the price.
I hope ON starts selling just the lens at some point since you can disassemble them for a frameless look... I would totally buy more lenses to swap in with the frames I have now.
Put these bad boys on and immediately felt my testosterone levels rise
These glasses are absolutely awesome. I use them for running, hiking, mountain biking, and road. They offer great protection, field of view, and all around performance. They breathe way better than the original Fixie's and they block sweat drops better as well. Needless to say, you also look like like a shredder regardless of actual riding ability.
Lastly, customer service with this company is awesome. The original Fixie's broke on me while mtn biking and Optic Nerve had the upgraded Fixie Max on the way to my house in no time.....even during COVID (and at no cost to me). Definitely buying from Optic Nerve again.
So, obvi the style is superfly. I didn’t actually NEED more shades for practical reasons, but the second the Fixie Max came out, I had to have them.
I’m a lifelong addict of all Optic Nerve sunnies, since they’re just plain hands-down the best for performance. I need durable and functional shades for racing, and there’s no better product, and certainly no better market price.
The Fixie Max model is my new fave, with the principal difference being style, fit, and coverage. I think all that’s pretty obvious. I went with the blue shields and I can look straight up at the sky on a sunny day (alá tilting my head back on the bike to take some fluid), and I feel fully protected. They’re the best!
Great glasses! I've used them while on the road bike, mountain bike and going on hikes. They have a wide field of vision, lenses are not too dark but not too bright, and the glasses vent well so no fogging up the lenses yet gives plenty of protection from wind and sun. It was hard to choose what lenses I wanted but I got the Copper Lenses with Silver flash.
The past few weeks riding in the "NEW" Fixie Max has been incredible. I love the large lens and overall fit. The venting technology also keeps sweat from accumulating on the lens. I would definitely recommend getting a pair!
