The cover was a little thin, so I put in a memory foam pillow and always carried a blanket as well. My seat is big enough for 2 dogs which game him ample room to lay down while we travelled.\r\nI was recently in an accident and even though his seat was in the front, he remained in his seat and wasn't harmed by the airbags.
