All I can say is it feeds and shoot’s amazing. The finish is very nice looking, and seems like it will last a lifetime. I was shooting sub moa groups second trip out. My best for the day was a 3 shot .375 inch group at 100 yards, with factory hunting ammo. I bought this rifle in every caliber when they first came out. Had them directly shipped to an Fff from the weatherby factory. The magazine has issues in every long action caliber besides the 257 wby. The short action mag feeds great, but the long action mags have issues. From the hardwoods in the midwest to the mountains in the west the MeatEater rifle is the perfect tool to fill the freezer year after year.<br />\n<br />\n<strong>A custom rifle feel, without the custom price</strong><br />\n<br />\nThrough years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The MeatEater rifle comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech Field trigger and a Magpul removable magazine.<br />\n<br />\nThe Model 307 MeatEater features a lightweight vertical grip stock that includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull providing a custom fit for the shooter.
