OPTIC IS AWFUL","text":"I've ran 720~ rounds through this gun since purchasing on December 23rd, 2023.\nFirst off, I'll get the cons and mishaps out of the way.\nThe Red Dot: Worse than your run of the mill knock offs you will find over the counter at a gun store if they have no shame and aplenty at airsoft spots. Mine in Particular emulate having an astigmatism through one eye but just for the dot. The lamp does not like cold days and good luck using it in the snow.\nMagazine compatibility: It does in fact accept 10/22 Ruger Factory Magazines. Had an issue with the Ruger mags falling out of the gun though I was running it in wet conditions (moderate rain) and partially due that it didnt like with those magazines(FEDERAL CHAMPION 40Gr). The first time using it after cleaning it I did not have an issue with Ruger Mags. Ammo was (Remington Golden Bullet)\n\nNow for the positives or somewhats.\nThis gun has good value if you go without the optic.\nRifling is good, Action is smooth, take down is very simple.\nI'd say this would make a great first rifle that doesn't cost 10/22 money.\nThe original Wildcat Magazine has a bolt hold open which when you run to empty you know you're out .\nExpected Picatinny mounting points on the gun for optic and bipod. Appreciated.\nErgos are decent other than I wish the handguard was bigger. I wear size small gloves to give a good idea of my hand size.\nTrigger is not abysmal, I would say okay and expected at the price range.\n\nOverall I think the gun is decent at best you can find better if you absolutely needed it but this rifle gets the job done at a well enough price. If you plan on using it in the wet I suggest don't not a good time with this gun.
