But lots of plastic.","text":"Very light, very inexpensive, creative design, quite accurate. Barrel is reasonably thick and gets as good accuracy as 22LR ammo is able to achieve. Aguila 38gn Super Hollow Points can group \u003c5\" at around 75 yards. Good enough for me. \n\nNote that the rear sight fell off after some rounds, thank goodness it was in my garage where I could hear it falling on the floor! Otherwise gone forever. \n\nThe design of the receiver is amazing in that it's super easy to remove the whole thing for instant cleaning. Holes for sling mounts on front and back. Pic rail for scopes/sights. Again, quite light, very easy to carry all day in the field, just keep the scope down to no more than a 1lb.\n\nI'd say the whole rifle is a ton of pros and no cons. EXCEPT for one huge con.\nThere is a ton of plastic on here. Over time I could see things loosening up on this platform due to the amount of plastic. I zero'd a scope with this brand new rifle, and with some Aguila 38gn hollow points, the accuracy was quite good. I mean surprisingly good. Any bad grouping is surely the ammo variance, not really this platform.\n\nIt's quite light feeling, even with the near 1lb rimfire scope I attached. Put two sling mounts, a lightweight sling, and this thing seems like something you could carry for miles without noticing, it's so light. Yet when oppty and duty calls, good 5\" groups can be had out to 100 yards. If you need to kill small game out to 100-125 yards, chances are good that 2 out of 3 shots will hit the animal, the 3rd will be a flier, again, due to 22lr ammo variance. Maybe even better with match grade ammo, which I will try next. For regular plinking of soda can size items, even regular box ammo will perform great out of this rifle. No compromise in basic accuracy for such a low price.\n\nPros:\n- threaded barrel, ready for suppressor or other end treatments\n- clever magazine design\n- compatible with Ruger mags, tested this with Ruger 25rd mag, and had a few Failure to Feeds, but most 25rd full mags worked 100%. \n- sling mounts already there\n- pic rail on bottom for bipod, I recommend magpul, which is quite lightweight and fits perfectly, perfect match for this rfile\n- super easy cleaning! Cannot be easier!\n- love the bolt release feature\n- pic rail for scope\n- overall very good design and lightweight to boot, ergonomics are just great\n\nCons:\n- yes, it has a TON of plastic. It's light, but again, plastic\n- the frail plastic bottom pic rail protector broke off like tissue paper, but I would have lost it anyway.
