I've tried on more pairs than I can count, from so many different brands. These pants finally hit the sweet spot, and I've now ordered 3 pairs. \r\n\r\nHere's what's to love: soft waist (not too much ruching, fabric is soft), elastic not too tight, drawstring for adjustability, SOFT fabric, loose cut but not baggy, front pockets that don't stick out at the sides or add too much extra pouffy fabric at the front, a rear that is loose enough but not saggy, a crotch rise that is long enough, cute fabric, fair trade and earth-friendly fabric. This is it! If you are on the fence, try them. \r\n\r\nI've tried on so many pairs of pants from so many brands. They are so comfy and lightweight. \r\n\r\nI love the elastic plus drawstring waistband-- helps keep them up and gives space to enjoy eating and sitting without feeling like you're restricted. I have a hard time finding summer weight pants that are not cropped or so wide bottomed that it looks like I could carry a guest around each leg under the pants. Why is this so hard to find? Give me a straight leg that goes all the way down. \r\n\r\nI also love that these feel breezy, soft, and have great movement, while also having enough structure that you can successfully roll them up to your knees for puddle jumping, beach walking, and a bit more breeze when the temps are extra hot. They do not have straps to pin them up, so the fact that they stay up regardless is a real bonus in my book. \r\n\r\nThey wash well and if you grab them out of the dryer and hang them up you are good to go! I take them traveling and roll them-- if you hang them and spritz with water on the other end, they fall out well. They are comfy to wear on the planes, too-- kind of like sporting PJs without actually wearing PJs. They are great for going out to dinner, and easy moving enough for when I do my work as a massage therapist. (Think moving like you're doing yoga)\r\n\r\nAll that said, I just bought two more pair in new colors. So now I have FOUR PAIR! I was thrilled to see they have new colors this year!!! I've been looking for years for pants like this to replace ones I used to have. So I'm stocking up.\r\n\r\nFor reference, I'm 5'9\" and about 167lbs. I choose a Large. They sometimes feel a little roomy, but the medium felt a little restrictive and if you haven't caught on...
