Fabulous Ridge Flex
These are not only great-looking sport shoes they feel great as well and make me think I accidentally put on my soft slippers instead. They give me great support for my walks along the California coast and as I walk up and down the foothills above the Pacific. I liked them so much, I just bought another pair in blue.

Not waterproof /2nd msg to Keen
These shoes are not waterproof; I am totally disappointed and request a refund or even exchange. In 6wks of wearing them even the dewy grass seeps in, esp the toe box. I work outside 6 day's a week in yards and
was looking forward to them being great. My 1st msg to Keen emailed on 6.25.21 and have received no call or acknowledgement.

good walking shoes
I've been wearing these shoes on 3-5 mile walks and they are very comfortable. They have good firm support and flex comfortably. My only complaint is that they could breathe a little better--they will probably be too hot to wear when the temperature reaches the 100's.

Not a good fit
Wanted to embrace this new shoe but after hiking several times with different socks and insoles, I couldn’t prevent blisters on the inside of my foot, just above the arch. Never had a blister there before. I returned the shoes.

So wanted to embrace this shoe but similar to another review, this is the first Karen I have had that gave me blister upon the first wearing. And no matter what socks I wore or insoles I used, they were uncomfortable. Irritation around the ankle and blisters on the inside of my foot below the arch. I returned them. I would also like to note that on my previous Keen hiking shoes, the fabric at the back of the heel is the first thing to wear out and cause heel blisters, well before any of the rest of the shoe shows any deterioration. Bandaids and/or moleskin helps but this should not happen with a pricy, quality shoe. Otherwise, the hiking shoes are great with a wonderful large toe box.

Super disappointed
There is a design flaw with the tongue- it rubs terribly on the top of the foot (specifically left side of tongue). I should have worn them around the house to break them in a little instead of wearing them for the first time on vacation. After 5 minutes of walking the dogs, had to turn back. Tried with thin and thick socks but no relief/better fit. Had to run to outdoor shop to get replacements. While online shopping is convenient, lesson learned it’s worth the time to go get fitted and hear about pros and cons of each brand and style.

Hiking shoes
Worried at first as thought they were a bit big but now very comfortable. Need to wear a thick pair of socks but otherwise very pleased with them.

The Best!
I love these shoes! They fit perfectly, did not need to be broken in and are extremely comfortable. I wear them every day for urban hiking/dog walking. They handle all sorts of landscape - uneven lawns, loose gravel, pavement, riverbanks and vacant lots. They keep my feet dry and happy.

I only wear keens all day, everyday for the last 5 years. All year round farmer, bartender and hiker. Not too impressed unfortunately
In the last year I have no complaints with Keen, I refer them to everyone and anyone. Unfortunately this year I could not find my go to pair (Keen Revel III) PLEASE PLEASE bring them back, which I’ve bought and worn for the last five years of my life. No joke. I buy myself a brand new pair before my busy season starts on the farm and at the restaurant. So I couldn’t find my go to pair this year anywhere in my size. So I thought I’d take a leap and try the ridge flex. Figured waterproof great, flexible even better. One of the best qualities in Keens is that you can put them on as soon as you buy them and go. Not the case with these, super stiff, no flexibility, narrow as all heck. My feet felt so restricted. I gave it as many days as I could handle before I got a blister which I’ve never had with Keens.I’ve been a 9.5 my whole adult life. Not sure what has changed with Keen. All in all super bummed; I’m one to not have to return anything. But I don’t even know what I could get in return that is comparable.
