I was in need for some new kicks, every time I would do a workout my feet would burn and my knee would kill. These shows were literally made for cross training. Great for short distance running, HIIT workouts, and jumping around. Super comfortable. highly recommend.
I bought a pair in Gunsmoke color a year ago for HIIT and lifting workouts. They seriously are the best training shoes I’ve bought and I’ve been training for years. They fit perfectly and give perfect support for these types of workouts. I just bought another pair in Black Laser Fuchsia. #swooshlife
These cross trainers are comfortable and fit true to size (as noted in the the Nike fit guidelines). Here's one feature where these shoes differ: there is no traditional style 'tongue'; so essentially, they are slip ons. They are flexible/stretchy, so not a problem for my regular width foot with the use of the loop at the back. Some may find this not so great for their shaped foot or just not what they want in a workout shoe. They still do have the traditional lace tie on the top. Overall, they are a good workout trainer and a keeper, even with the little bit of extra to get them on.
These are amazing shoes. They fit perfectly and they are incredibly light with good support at the arch and ankle. I've used them as they've been designed for HITT, cross training, etc. I can tell the difference in the stability compared to my old shoes (which were older running shoes).
I’ve had these shoes for about a year and I continue to use them when I’m at the gym. They can be used for literally any type of activity: CrossFit, weightlifting, running outside or on the treadmill, these guys are your answer! Amazing shoes and great quality, they always clean up really well too!!!
For the 2018 and proceeding years of nike shoe models, i go half a size up ( ive always been a size 9 in nike and for a lot of other brands). But now i am a 9.5 as of their 2018 nike free run. I have wide feet but these are actually just perfect for HIIT workouts/ running. Give them a chance to break in, they are great. They dont choke your feet out, even feel throughout the shoes. I was iffy about the shoe lace design but the laces are great, even pressure all around, super comfortable! i will be ordering more in diff colors soon. Highly recommend!! (p.s. for nike: really great idea with the video of a person wearing and showing how the sole flexes--- really sold me there, bravo.)
I just started working out with a personal trainer and with most of my exercises being strength training and circuits these are perfect! They are super easy to get on, my no show socks are staying up throughout the entire workout, and they are so comfortable I feel like I could walk around in them all day. I have usually purchased my sneakers based on style and the comfort is usually iffy. Whatever technology Nike has to create this sole and insole should be added to all lifestyle sneakers for those of us that like the style and also want to be able to walk around in them for hours.
I just bought these and have worn them a few times to the gym and I already love them. They not only look nice but they are super comfortable as well. My feet usually hurt when I do cardio but these have some nice cushioning in them so my feet no longer hurt.
I LOVE these shoes! I had to have screws put in my foot after a severe break and since then, have had a hard time finding shoes for training that are both flexible AND supportive. I had been through several pairs until I found these! They check all the boxes - they are lightweight, breathable, easy to move in, yet they still keep my foot feeling stable. I would advise you listen to all the reviewers about sizing up though. I wear a 10 in every other sneaker, but decided to order a 10.5 and I'm so glad I did. The 10.5 fits perfectly. Most comfortable shoes ever!
Super cute. They are comfy for the most part. However, I have two complaints. 1. The support around the ankle rubs on my achilles..but only on the left side! So annoying. 2. They run kind of big!! I’m normally a size 6 but I feel like I have boat on my feet. I already wore them but wish I would of sizes down. Other than those two things the shoe is nice and I get many compliments on them.
I absolutely love this shoe. The lavender color is beautiful and the comfort is great. They’re light and snug and I feel so light on my feet. I’ve worn them about 5 times since I got them last week and I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you.
Absolutely love the Nike Free TR8! Finally!! A shoe that works for my HIIT bootcamp classes. The stability I need for weighted reps, and adequate cushioning, spring and support for runs and jumps.. I got the Laser Fuschia and love it, but immediately also bought the black after my first time wearing them. No more having to guess what shoes are going to work better for each class.
After having my second child, my feet unfortunately changed completely -- leaving me with a closet full of incredible shoes that no longer fit. I ended up ordering over 20 different pairs of running shoes, but nothing worked and I was almost done trying, when I stumbled across this shoe. Not only does it fit my new/slightly wider foot, but it's like running on a cloud! I'm so happy with this shoe, I bought it in a second color (the navy metallic and the charcoal)...and I'm now looking at a third option, too! While I know it's more for HIIT cardio type workouts, it's perfect for me to use on my treadmill (I run 3 miles x 5 days a week). Nike, please don't ever change this shoe -- unless you're going to add more colors!
Needed a new pair of regular sneakers for non-running workouts -- these shoes are great! I bought the white/gray ones. The blue swoosh accent is electric and makes the simple shoe POP. The "red/orange" looking outline near the ankle is more of a "hot pink" - it still looks great and gives the shoe a different edge of design; just a color change to consider if "hot pink" isn't in your style range. I think it would have been nicer for the color to stay true to the representation picture (red/orange), but the pink will do. Overall QUALITY sneaks ~
True to size, a little wiggle room but a thicker sport sock would be it snug
I just got these in and I can already tell they are awesome!! I can’t wait to use them for training. All my tennis shoes are now Nike I wear a size 5 and it is very rare that they fit well. These fit perfect! Very comfortable and versatile I can tell they won’t hurt if I try to run in them but stable enough for weight training as well!!
I just bought these shoes specifically to fit the type of workouts I do and I have never been more pleased! I do a lot of weights/HIIT/jumping and felt so comfortable and supported in these shoes! I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for training shoes, or just looking for a comfortable everyday shoe
Hands down the most comfortable shoes I’ve had yet. I bought these as a versatile workout and run shoe for PT and due to a lot of traveling so I wanted to travel light. I now use them just to go run errands. Highly recommend!!! Flat enough with good support for lifting weights and soft for running. I love the tabs which make it easy to just slip on. I’m lazy so I look for that. If you want a workout and run shoe, this is the one imo. Only have had them for a month so I don’t know how they hold up yet.
These shoes are wonderful! I use them for a mix of HIIT training/cardio/lifting and they've been supportive while maintaining flexibility and cushion for the more high-impact parts of my workout. I've been a Metcon lover for a long while for training, however I needed something that could easily transition from weights to the treadmill... these shoes are perfect for that! I think I'm going to get another pair for casual summer hiking :)
No support. None. Like wearing ballet shoes. Or slippers. Very cute, I get many compliments but the worst Nike shoes I have ever had. No stability, no arch, no support. Tried them with thin socks, thick socks (Thorlos), no help. Just awful. Don't buy them.
These are amazing. I LOVE them for kickboxing and jump rope and for lifting and HIIT. Its a perfect jack of all trades shoe. There is adequate cushioning and yet ankle support. The only reason I took off a star is because they look like clown shoes from the top view and the laces by gawd are long enough to wrap around my waist and then some. If they were a little more streamlined without such a boxy toe box and if they worked out the lacing system these would be my forever go to workout shoe. I purchase the white/black and orange color way because I'm a SF Giants fan.
Best Nike shoe I have purchased yet. Light weight, hugs your foot perfectly, stability without the bulkiness. Perfect for running, hiit training and lifting. I train every day in this. All around best show from nike. True to size. I wear a 9.5
