Bought my Yeti lowball yesterday and am thrilled how hot my coffee stayed even without lid! But why is the inside of cup different than say my super smooth stainless steelsauce pan? just noticed texture and wonder if over time coffee residue will build up between teeny tiny spaces inside.
Why have a insulated thermal cup that can keep liquids hot or cold a long time and sell it with a lid with a hole in it? Aside from the inconvenience of easily spilling out liquid when walking/traveling, you lose all the benefits of insulation. Having to spend 50% of the initial price for a simple lid, which is still not spill proof is crazy.
As a contributing member of Trout Unlimited I received the silver stainless version. First used it for hot tea then strong coffee. To get the coffee taste/smell out used inexpensive denture cleaning tablets with warm water for 1/2 hour then rinsed thoroughly. No residual taste with my iced tonic water. Keeps the temperature!
Went for 15 days to Caribbean used it every day. Drank Scotch on the rocks and the rocks held up for up to 3 hours in the heat. Average temperature 86 degrees. Great work Yeti keep the great products coming.
2 30’s, 3 20’s, 2 colsters ,1 roadie .1 hopper and 2 coffee stained 10oz low balls? Very disappointing can’t get coffee stains out of them you can also taste coffee in my whiskey! That sucks. I bought the green ones last year was there a problem with them? Tired soaking for days, scrubbing you name it nothing removes them. The coffee was only in the lowballs long enough to drink. Anybody else had this problem
I bought this about a month ago and I love it, I use it mainly for drinking coffee at my desk at work. Can’t tell you what a thrill it is having hot cup of coffee at all times without it cooling down when I get busy on the phone or if I get tied up in a project. If you don’t have one get one, they’re very affordable and the top interchanges with the tumbler . I love this thing.
I own 4 of these and wouldn’t use any other cup at home or anywhere else for that matter. Only downfall is that it definitely doesn’t keep ice as long as the 20 oz. Rambler tumbler. Those are great as well. Can’t believe I drank from sweating glasses leaving rings on everything and melting ice for decades. Great products, keep it up!!
These dang cups are ridiculously good at keeping my coffee hot. In addition I’ve driven away with this darn thing on my roof twice and there is nary a dent nor scratch. Congratulations, if you’re reading this review just buy this dang cup.
Bought this as it would fit under the spout of my new Gaggia Brera espresso machine. Allows me to easily take advantage of my new machine for my morning coffee. This was the only high quality insulated mug that I could find that would work. And it keeps my morning macchiato hot all the way to work!
I love the yeti, hate the lid! I'd love to have the flexibility to throw my coffee in my bag with a great lid and drink when I get to work. Leak free please!!! If you like carrying your coffee as you commute, the yeti works and is a beautiful thing. It's a wonderful cup for expresso and cortado drinkers!
I bought this for work and it keeps my tea hot for HOURS! Many times I would have to walk away from my desk and come back to cold tea (I use to use Starbucks ceramic and now I get back to my desk and my tea is ALWAYS hot! I have the regular sip top it comes with.
I bought the Rambler 10 to keep my coffee warm and it works great! Now I also use it for water, tea, and wine. It's really nice having drinks stay hot or cold for an extended period of time. My only complaint is that I have noticed staining which I didn't expect from stainless steel.
I recently bought this as a cup for work. It keeps my drinks cold all day. I can put ice in it at the start of my shift and the ice will stay all day long. I’m buying another for my husband to take to work with him.
I am the proud owner of five Yeti products now. They are definitely the best at keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. But your lids stink. Even the magnetic slid is not spill-proof, only the screw top. There has to be a better option to compliment the best cups.
Bought this 2 weeks ago and love it. I have a couple of tumblers and wanted a Yeti to drink cocktails from. Love the product. It keeps my mixed drink cold and will be used on Fridays after a long week at work.
I love my Yeti lowball and the other yetis we own. Specially the lowball though. We ran it over with our SUV and the magslider lid remained under the tire overnight. They all survived. Just a slight dent and some scratches when it should have been destroyed, plus it still keeps my coffee hot all day I need be. Amazing product!
I fill this lowball with coffee, mixed drinks, soups, and everything in between. It keeps things warm & cold for hours. It’s essential for any camping trip, but honestly I find a use for it everyday! The only drawback is that it does not fit in standard cupholders.
I received this as a gift. It doesn't keep drinks as cold or as hot as i was expecting from the Yeti brand. I suspect it is because of the type of lid. It also doesn't fit in my 2018 Traverse cup holders, so that is a negative. I still seem to use it almost daily for water.
I own many Yeti products and have always been satisfied. I was given 4 ramblers for my Bday. I took coffee in my yeti thermas and would fill my rambler from it while hunting this morning. It was 26 degrees at daybreak. My coffee was very hot all morning. My yeti’s are field tested and always perform. 5 stars!
I bought a lowball just 2 weeks ago as I was excited for the purchase of my first Yeti product. Perfect size, but for the price, and its "features" ot doesnt keep my drink hot compared to other similar competitive products on the market. In order to keep said drink hot I have to fill it with hot water first, then put my beverage of choice in the rambler. I also bought the magnetic slider lid that says it is spill proof, it is far from. Even if the liquid isnt all the way to the top, it still spills out. For the price, the brand name, and its reputation, I expect more out of a cup.
