The Panga Backpack is an airtight citadel merging the durability of the Panga Duffel with a tried-and-true backpack design. Its ergonomic DryHaul Shoulder Straps offer extra carrying comfort, while the removable chest straps and waist belt provide added stability and security while you trek. And no need to carry it over your head while you wade or blink an eye if left out in the rain, because it's a 100% waterproof gear fortress equipped to outperform any other backpack out there.
Just like its Panga predecessors, this pack overrules all dunks and downpours. The exterior is engineered with the same high-density, puncture- and abrasion-resistant ThickSkin shell and a HydroLok Zipper that won't let even the strongest currents or heaviest rainfalls bust their way in.
Features: HYDROLOK ZIPPER: Makes sure water stays out so your gear stays bone-dry, no matter how torrential it gets. U-DOCK: The terminal end of your HydroLok Zipper that ensures a completely airtight seal. THICKSKIN SHELL: Our ThickSkin Shell is made of high-density nylon and thick TPU lamination to be puncture- and abrasion-resistant. METALLOCK HARDWARE: Tough-as-nails, simple-as-rocks QUICKGRAB LASH POINTS: Designed for when you need to get up and go at a moment's notice. DRYHAUL STRAPS: The DryHaul Straps are meant to be as durable as they are comfortable, complete with custom set hardware. STOWAWAY MESH POCKET: An easy-to-access internal mesh pocket that keeps your valuables safe, dry, and tucked away. INTERIOR SLEEVE: Extra organization for your on-the-go essentials. We bought this backpack for canoeing, hiking and camping. Ended up taking it on a trip to Disney World to keep our daughters’ autograph book dry incase of inclement weather and any water rides we might go on. It was so comfortable to wear all day for a week. It rained one day out of the week and kept all our belongs dry and protected. Many people stopped to tell us they had no idea yeti made a backpack and comment on it.
Took this bag as a carry-on luggage for a week in Greece. The waterproof zipper added piece of mind that my items were safe since it requires a tug to open. Bag is very durable and can take a beating but also very comfortable to wear for hours on end. My new favorite bag.
I bought this a few weeks ago and have been using it four-wheeling almost every weekend! Comfortable enough to wear on my back and durable enough to just strap down onto the wheeler. Been through rainstorms and mud holes and it kept everything bone dry!
Shopped around for a versatile bag that I can take on the boat, travel in airports, and use for our construction company. This bag has done all of that. I added the waterproof sidekick. The only recommendation I would make is having the bottom padded and reinforced similar to the back where the straps are. iPad Pro fits perfect inside the sleeve and I can pack a DJI Mavic 2 Pro inside as well.
This is a great piece of gear. I’m really impressed. I would recommend having two more quick grabs at top of bag to help close zipper. Zipper is amazing but no grab points as you zip it around the bag. No big deal it still zips easily. We will have thousands of dollars if gear including cell phones, drones, cameras, extra cloths and water/snacks. Trekking in the jungle and beaches ended something just like this bag. It’s totally air right to keep gear clean and dry. It also can be used as flotation if needed when swimming or going to boat and back. Just great gear and definitely 5 stars. Also with GoPro Adapter I can easily use it in shoulder strap. Perfect.
I bought the Panga 28 to keep emergency gear and other essentials dry when out on the water, but I’ve been using this bag for just about everything. From offshore fishing, overnighters for work or a day trip to the zoo with the family, this bag is awesome. I’m as likely to be carrying snacks, towels and a change of clothes for the kids as I am an EPIRB, flares and handheld VHF radio in this bag. Tough, waterproof, spacious, comfortable and easy to clean.
ive owned this bag for a couple months now. the only things i don't like is that it stands on its own but folds over at the bottom its a little irritating. a little large for an everyday carry to work. its very durable though and great build. i love it. used it on a trip to mexico . i fit everything i took and more. five days worth of clothes and bathroom supplies. buy nice not twice. highly recommend
I was looking for a pack that would keep my valuables dry while exploring the Exumas. I hesitated at checkout seeing what a large sum of money I was spending for a pack. I was smart and decided to order one, man am I glad I did. The zipper is the same as the one on my hopper (amazing which gave me the confidence of it being a true dry pack, not to mention it had the Yeti name, which is synonymous with quality. I am thinking about buying the brick, up again the price. I did get more than my moneys worth with the Panga 28, so maybe it is time to pull the trigger on that Yet item as well. Glad to know the loadout buckets are AMERICAN MADE. :)
This bag blew away my expectations. The heavy duty engineering makes this backpack virtually indestructible. Spacious, comfortable, and waterproof...what more could you ask for? Great for hiking, fishing, and just about any other adventure you can think of!
Yeti does it again... After cutting my teeth on the Panga 50 I bought the Panga 28 for day trips. From paddling to camping the Panga 28 takes all the abuse I throw at it. it even doubles as a life preserver in a pinch. I love this bag.
I got this as a gift a little over a month ago and I absolutely love it . It’s an amazing product, I wouldn’t expect anything less from yeti though . We have a lot of yeti products and we love every single one of them .
Have been struggling to find a large enough pack for a day on the water. One that I can put fishing gear as well as some cloths for a day on the water. I have finally found it. This will cover me for everything from Alaska to Cuba, Steelhead to Tarpon, Flats boat to Drift Boat. Sheds water too!
I really like the size, however I use it as a lunch box cause I ride a motorcycle everyday, the product could fit better and I use 7 pounds of yeti ice packs and everyday my ice packs are completely thawed!
I bought this backpack over a month ago and I'm so happy I did. This thing seriously goes everywhere with me when I'm traveling, hiking, fishing, and camping. Ive used it as a cooler and works great, keeps things cold for hours. Also use it when im fishing to keep valuables dry. Its worth the money!
As a family, we are all Yeti fans and users. This summer while in the Greek acropolys I came by an english lad who had the Yeti backpack and had to ask him about it, since ive seen it before in one of the preview email received. His response, You have to have to have it! Lol and behold I got it upon our arrival back from our trip Hopefully this weekened we will go offshore fishing and our Yeti backpack will be with us
I bought this pack a month ago and so far have used it for a week long vacation as my carry-on bag and for a few hiking trips. I am very pleased with how much can fit in the pack and how comfortable it is. Also the waterproof zipper acts as theft protection since it’s not easy to open which is a plus in my book!
I got this for my husband for his birthday. He loves the outdoors and he absolutely loves fishing. It’s perfect for both activities. The backpack is fully waterproof so he doesn’t have to worry about his stuff while on the boat. It’s also very convieniet to attach extra accessories on the sides and front. He is so in love with it! Thanks yeti!!!
I bought this bag to hold all of my fly fishing stuff, and I was completely surprised in how effective and rugged this bag was. The zipper is 100% waterproof, and when submerged in a river, all of the contents inside stayed completely dry. This bag is another dynamite product that YETI has come out with. Check out this bag, it will not let you down!
I was leaving last second on a trip and really needed the bag fast. The order online was super easy and I had the backpack the next day I have been using it ever since and has lived up to the Yeti brand ! Great purchase!
I bought this pack for a fly fishing trip in the mountains in northern Mongolia. It is extremely roomy and it took a beating but still works and performs like new. The waterproof design is excellent. I chose it because it was a true backpack instead of a dry bag. The versatility of the backpack is what makes the bag excellent. Not only was it great on the river but I still felt comfortable wearing it around the city for everyday use. 100% recommend.
I gave this bag my full confidence and threw in two iPhones, car keys and a load of snacks during it's first river trip on a busy weekend in San Marcos. When the river got clogged up at the rapids and everyone started flipping tubes and losing their bags, Little Panga was put to the test. I fished my bag out of the water, sat back, and watched as everyone else hunted down their soaked belongings. Once the river calmed back down I unzipped Little Panga, whipped out my snacks, and discovered that everything inside was BONE DRY. There wasn't even a hint of humidity in this thing.
I highly recommend this bag for anyone who spends a lot of time around water. The cost is much cheaper than replacing a fried phone or buying new bags every couple of trips. Now all I need is a tube that can hold up just as long and my river trips will be set for life!
Just took my Panga Backpack on it's first excursion to the Sea of Cortez off the East Cape of Baja. We took it out everyday on the panga, and it worked like a charm keeping our phones, wallets, and expensive camera gear safe and dry. We also took it for long walks on the beach in search of Roosters with the fly rod. This thing is legit.
Held out as long as I could. I was waiting to buy this until I had a use for it. Have a big trip coming up and couldn't be more excited to take this along. I opted to add the sidekick for a little more storage/easier accessibility to smaller items. To everyone complaining about no bottle holder, it really doesnt take much creativity to find a way to make it possible. Go on amazon and search molle accessories, was able to find a few items that work perfectly to attach my yeti rambler, and only for a few bucks. The grab handles and font molle straps make this perfect to customize and offers infinite options via the military molle system.
The Panga Backpack is a cool mixture of modern fashion with the durability of the outdoors. I bought this when it first came out and have been on many expeditions. It’s has been smashed in mud; left outside in winter; and completely submerged in water in summer. All while keeping its airtight support and returns to normal. I highly recommend to any extreme or ordinary traveler.
This backpack is incredible from wading while fishing to keeping my camera gear completely dry in all climates just as the rest of the panga family it is a must have item when you depend on keeping your gear dry
