I'm more of a function over aesthetics type of person, and this thing delivers on both. The bottle opener feature works great, and I probably used it several hundred times since I've purchased it. Unlike those generic bottle opener keychains you get from everyone, there's no way this one will break like them. Although I bought it as a keychain bottle opener replacement, I do use it as package opener all the time for my job. I probably open up at least 10+ packages per week on a slow week and it's great to always have this in my pocket without having to reach for my boxcutter. The knife I would use would get all sticky from the tape and it would be annoying. With this thing is not a problem and it's always in my pocket. Sure there might be some tape accumulation after several boxes in a row, but I would just use my fingers to wipe it off and it's like new. My favorite feature though is the screwdriver thing in the front. I mean it's just so useful everywhere. Not just for screwing things in/out, but it's also a good prier if I need to get under something or hold something in place. This thing is just so useful on so many levels, I can't describe it. And it was like $6 when I bought it. I mean for a keychain this thing is amazing. It's probably been a year and a half since I got it and it still looks amazing, not that I care about that too much, but functionally, it's still great. Honestly, I can't even tell that it's any real wear on it. The only thing I can see is some character and history from rubbing up against the keys it's bound to while sitting in my pocket. I also own the other Doohickey tool, without the carabiner. This one appears to be sharper, but I prefer the other one since it's a solid piece of steel and therefore impossible to break. Since this has a moving part, it probably won't last as long.
