It is too big, and not right all around. I am a size 10.5 women’s foot and would have ordered next size down. But it does hold cold for about 10-15 min and feels as cold as ice. I appreciate the overall effect of continuous cold over a large area, but the sleeves are not small enough for a smaller person. When I use one on my ankle, there is a gap between the sleeve and the top of my foot. The sleeve fits better on my elbow, but could be tighter to really feel the cold.\n\nThat said, the sad thing is that the sleeves come in cheap plastic interlocking opening bags that are essential to use of the product but are difficult to close and seal completely. McDavid should have more pride in their product and use a good quality plastic bag with a zipper closure. Also essential to the use of the product is a paper label on the plastic bag with important usage instructions. On one sleeve, the label was already off when I opened the box. On the second sleeve, the label was half off and half torn. Use a proper, solid label, or print readable text on the bag itself. The result was like a sprain to the upper portions of the foot. While rehabbing, the tendons continued to swell causing enough pain the curtail her usual sports. We see the compression sock that offers both heat (microwave) and cold (freezer) treatments. Rehab has accelerated tremendously!
