I bought the 20 gauge that is relatively light compared to many others I’ve tried. I think it’s about 6.5 pounds, and while it’s not technically a Beretta, it’s under the Beretta Company umbrella. I actually found it helpful.\nThe safety that automatically sets upon closing might take a little getting used to but by the end of my initial hundred rounds it was automatic for me to click it off when I shouldered it.\nSpent rounds ejected without any problem and the feature of unfired rounds simply being brought out so you can remove them, in place of being ejected, is appreciated.\nI've always been a person who was more into function than form with my firearms - although there can be a certain handsomeness in an M1 Garand, 1903 Springfield or well-worn revolver, pistol or lever action - this Franchi Side-Plate is a great combination of both and is easily the best looking long gun of any type or era that I own. beautiful case hardening, high grade walnut, magnificent engraving and a deep rich bluing combine to make this a great combination of form & function.\nThe recoil pad does its job better than most and I didn't feel any discomfort after my day of shooting.\nIt comes with several chokes and a wrench, and all seem to be of good quality and work as intended although I didn't shoot any steel with the steel shot chokes included.\nThe hard case is strong and protects this shotgun very well for transport to/from the field without the need to buy yet another gun case.\nMy experience with Scheels was excellent with the 4473-process going smoothly and without any problems or drama.\nThe employees I dealt with were personable and professional.\nIs it more expensive than my other shotguns?
