It's easy to set-up, comfortable and sturdy beyond its weight. This was my initial concern regarding its weight. I'm proud to own it thing the brand denotes a serious backpacker is inside. I have also bought other Big Agnes gear and damaged it and needed a repair; the process was a delight and I was the WOWed me with their service. It is much lighter and smaller than my previous tent despite being more spacious, but it definitely has some flaws. After using it for one whole season, ~ 11 nights, I have realized what I like and don't. While it has proven waterproof to me, I was unable to find a good way of keeping water out while using the door while raining.\nPros: lightweight, sturdy, waterproof, spacious\nCons: my biggest issue was the zippers, both on the tent and rainfly. I wanted to like the split zipper down the middle, but just couldn't find a way that worked best for me. I personally prefer the older layout which was used on my previous tent, with both doors opening at the side. I found this works best for avoiding getting water in the tent when getting in/out while it's raining. This design is also more effective when there is a bug or something in your tent and you want to get it out quickly. The zippers are so far apart from each other on this tent I just found it odd. \nOther main issue: not enough ventilation on rainfly. I didn't know that that little window/awning that come on a lot of backpacking tents make that much of a difference. \nYES I know that the lack of these features aids in it being lightweight but I think this tent would pretty much perfect with those few tweaks. \nJust my 2 cents after getting one season out of it. It's held up well, been easy to use and comfortable. It's at the perfect intersection for me of lightweight and comfortable for two. Recently the pole connector failed and even though it's been used for years, BA sent me a new one free of charge. If you are actually looking for a three person tent and don't want to sleep charlie and the chocolate factory style, I would recommend something larger, but for two people there is plenty of space for big comfy sleeping pads, backpacks etc to stay dry.
