The color definitely matches the photos online. We own a couple of different types of these shorts from Under Armour and they fit true to size across the board. I buy her a medium and they fit well. They have an elastic waist and are not too short. In general, I think UA runs big with their size chart. My daughter wears a 10/12 in other brands, but if I bought her a 10/12 in UA, they are too big around the waist, so make sure to follow the numerical size chart. Would definitely recommend.
