I can’t tell you how many times we have had to replace the flaps. Seriously TOO MANY TIMES. At least they are available to purchase. My problem now is the magnet that slides over the glides on the bottom has been ruined in all the going in and out and chewing from a puppy. I have looked everywhere for a replacement for it and can’t find one. I don’t know if they even make them. So I have had to just get a regular strip magnet and it doesn’t work well at all. If PetSafe reads this, will you please contact me? He opened it within hours of us installing it, so we had to de-install it to then RE-install it from the outside so he couldn't escape. it also broke nearly immediately. We got one of these probably over 10 years ago and it lasted for a LONG time, up until a few months ago. The quality has gone way down and the new locking mechanisms suck. But i didnt figure i could get the top piece. So i ordered the whole door. I put one in about 3 or 4 years ago. Best thing I've done in a while for my dogs. I have 3 great danes and a pitt. Its much easier on them to be able to go on and out as they need. The first flap lasted abiut 2 years.
