I unplugged it and the clicking stopped. When I plugged it back it, it threw sparks at the plug connection. I did this many times to confirm what I was seeing. \n\nVaultek support said since I don’t have the original receipt, that if I paid for shipping they would take a look at it and cover warranty/repair, but would not treat it as a warranty case since I don’t have the receipt (I purchased brand new from Scheels). \n\nBased on this, I recommend avoiding Vaultek. I’m not comfortable putting live ammunition in an electronic safe that sounds like it could be shorting, and sparking without explanation, or supporting a company who’s immediate answer to the situation isn’t “we’ll make it right - here’s a shipping label”.\n\nBringing it back to Scheels to see if they’ll honor a return for something else. The instructions didn't tell you where they go. I had to look up on YouTube. Then it was not easy to install them with my thick hands. Also, in order to put two guns in there, they would have to be tiny guns. There in plenty of room for one and maybe your wallet, knife or flashlight.
