My main concern with these pair though are that, after only 10 months, holes had formed in my inner thigh area where my thighs rub and create friction. I started noticing piling even earlier too, granted these are one of the 7 pairs of that I rotate daily and I wash them after every 1-2 wears the way the instructions state. This also could be a me problem because of my frequent laundering, but after about 5 months, the jeans started shrinking a bit. This was no problem as I had a tad of moving room extra when I bought them. \n\nJust to emphasize how much I love wearing these jeans, I thought that I'd mention that I now wear spandex shorts to prevent chafing.
