I'm constantly cold and I've been wearing Carhartt coats and bibs for years. Nothing beats their durability and warmth, especially on windy days. My only complaint is it came with a plastic zipper. Within a couple weeks, I ended up breaking a few teeth off when I bent over and the bottom was unzipped partially, but not enough obviously. I wore it to Finland and was warm the entire time! However, just like other reviews said, it is made with low quality zippers, which is a shame. The zipper to remove the fur lining for washing broke the first time I removed the fur. Just as the other reviewer said, the bottom plastic piece breaks off and then the zipper is no longer functional. I decided it was time for something new. This coat is so good. It’s incredibly warm (warmer than the down) I love the double zipper for in the car, so I don’t feel like I’m trapped in my coat. When I get to a building, I want to keep the coat on because it’s so comfy, not peal it off immediately. There is one mesh pouch on the inside, but 6! Big pockets on the outside. I got it in the green color. It’s a nice neutral green/brown. The fur is detachable if that’s not your jam. The hood is sewn on. If this coat is in your price range, get it!! If it wasn't for its awful plastic zipper that splits at the bottom EVERY single time I wear it, it would be 100% perfect. Honestly, due to the massive zipper problem I almost retuned it, but it is very warm, comfortable, & overall nice looking, so I ultimately decided to keep it and try to find a solution for the annoying zipper issue.
