It's big enough for my 3 and 6 year old to enjoy together. If you plan on having lots of kids on it I would suggest a size up. Putting it together was pretty easy with two people, starting the net around the base was the only part we struggled with for 15 minutes, once we figured it out the rest only took about 30 minutes to complete.
