• What is HSA/FSA and can I use it here?

  HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are pre-tax health benefit accounts that may be used to purchase eligible health products. SCHEELS has partnered with Truemed to enable qualified customers to use their HSA/FSA funds on eligible purchases. Eligibility depends on individual circumstances and is determined by an independent licensed practitioner through a clinical intake form at checkout.

• How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

  Add eligible products to your cart and proceed to checkout. Select “Pay with Truemed” as your payment method, then complete a clinical intake form. If the practitioner determines medical necessity, a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is issued and your HSA/FSA payment is processed.

• What is Truemed?

  Truemed partners with health and wellness brands to enable qualified customers to use pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases. Truemed partners with a network of medical practitioners who can issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby allowing customers to spend pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on medically-necessary health and wellness products. • What if I’m not approved?

  If the practitioner does not determine medical necessity, you can complete your purchase with a standard payment method or reapply at a later date.

• Can I split payment between HSA/FSA and a credit card?

  Yes. If your HSA/FSA balance does not cover the full purchase amount, you can pay the remainder with a credit or debit card during checkout.
