So this year I bought one online as a Christmas gift for my wife. I had to exchange it as defective. The replacement arrived, and was also defective. In both cases, the vest on/off button flutters and flickers upon attempting to power up. It neither warmed nor connected via Bluetooth. Scheels refunded my purchase price on a gift card. Cannot recommend. No troubleshooting guides to be found online or videos other than the regular \"Quick connect\" guide. Wont function without the app. Returning this immediately. It doesn't restrict my movement. I can put the vest on and take it off quickly and easily. It has a sturdy zipper. Moreover, the vest is very easy to use. You just need to charge the battery pack, plug the lightweight lithium-ion battery into the vest, and choose your heat level. The vest is operated via a soft illuminated push button on the front. There are four heat settings to choose from and the settings can be controlled via a phone app. The vest heats up quickly. On the highest setting, it can provide welcome heat for about two hours on a single charge. It also does a good job of wicking moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry. I recommend this nifty, well-constructed heated vest because it's a great product to help keep you warm during colder weather. It heats up quickly and the battery lasts for hours. It is made of a material that is ideal for layering without adding a lot of bulk that would diminish range and mobility. The only concern that I could possibly foresee as an issue for anyone would be the length of the vest. I am average height and it fits great but I also have several very tall people in my family that this would just be too short for, like almost every other piece of their clothing. Just be advised that if you’re 6’3 and over, look for a ‘tall’ option.
