I was hoping the specs were wrong because most other quilts are in the 50 - 60 inch range. It is just barely wide enough to reach the ground on the sides when I am under it. I am 5'11\" @ 180 LB. However, at 100 bucks, this is one of the cheapest down quilts I have come across and the quality and weight is pretty good for this price point. I would not purchase this at the MSRP which is double what I paid for it. I am going to sew some wings on the side to make it a tad wider to keep drafts out. I tested it in ~45° F and it was plenty warm but with some smalll drafts on the sides. I plan to use this for a late spring through early fall quilt and don't plan to push the 35° rating.\n\nThe baffles on this quilt are sown straight through. They are not boxes baffles but that doesn't matter too much to me for the temperatures I plan to use this at. I could see 35 degrees being accurate, lower possibly with the right clothing.\n\nThere is a neck pad. It is comfortable and keeps in warmth\n\nThe fit is perfect for me, being 6' and thin. Could be wider but personally I like how streamlined it is. The compression sack makes it tiny however I'd rather not risk damaging the fill.\n\nAlso... I'd recommend devising an alternative way to use the small loops on the sides of the bag. Didn't really like the strings it came with so I sewed buttons directly onto my sleeping pad.\n\nOverall I think this is a great quilt and you will be happy with it with the caveat If you know what you are in for.
